How to find item ids for a section, from cmd prompt

i noticed that when plex runs a scan uses item ids instead of by section id. the help file on cmd prompt is limited. any one know any examples not listed in the help file?

Take a look at the plex media info XML of an item in that library. The section ID is in the XML property librarySectionID="1"

thanks although, i need to do from cmd prompt . like run a query. if it gives more output then needed i can issue cmds to sift threw it if it follows pattern.
