I have a VERY LARGE plex library and am running into an issue with scanning. The files are accessed via SMB so I am unable to use scan partial option, because of this library scans are taking a very very very long time. When the next scheduled scan comes around its still scanning from the previous scan. hence the server is constantly scanning the library. Does anyone have any idea for a way around this?
Disable both the automatic and the periodic library update.
Then start a library update manually and let it run til it finishes.
