How to improve the download/display time of photos ?

Hello !

I’ve got a DSL connexion to bring Internet to my plex Media Server, so 1mbps upload, something like 125ko/s.
When I load a video, it reach the 125ko/s, but when I load a photo it never load more than 80ko/s speed and is mainly near to 25ko/s, and so, the photo take a lot of time to display (30s or more).
I’ve tried to use “Photo” through LAN connexion, and it seems to be the same problem : it doesn’t use the Gigabit local connexion at all. It’s as slow as when used in remote mode.
Is there a way to improve this upload speed ? To force Plex to send to the maximum speed quickly, please ?

Thanks for your help !

One month since my last post and still nothing… no one care about Photos  ?

I would like to use photos through Plex, but it just doesn’t meet my needs yet in organization, management, speed, and utility.

One thing I think would improve things a lot is if the Client side wasn’t all in one and there were specialized clients for Video, Audio, and Photos. The Universal App is great for basic functions, especially since it is available on so many platforms. It is hard to make one App be ideal for all features for all media types and specialized Apps for a subset of platforms would be great. Imagine a lightweight Smartphone Plex Music App, or a Photo centric Smartphone and/or Web App with basic editing, filters, redeye, social media integration, etc.

The existing Universal App is fine for Smart TVs, using Music Playlists, Photo Slideshows, etc.
