How to know which metadata agent was used?

How can I see which metadata agent was used for a TV show or a movie?

Usually there’s a reference/identifier under ... > Get Info → View XML.
The GUID of the selected item will e.g. start with

  1. plex://episode/ → new tv-show agent
  2. plex://movie/ → new Plex Movie agent
  3. com.plexapp.agents.imdb:// → legacy Plex Movie agent
  4. com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb:// → TheTVDb agent
  5. local:// → not matched

I haven’t checked the items after #2 for some time.
I couldn’t find a recent reference for The Movie Db.

Thanks. That’s very helpful.

That said, I wish it was just displayed in the regular app instead of needing to view XML.
