Hello,
I use Plex to manage my audiobooks. For my audiobooks library I have Scanner set to Plex Music Scanner and Agent Audnexus Agent.
I have “Keep existing genres in place” and “Prefer local metadata” ticked.
Genres source is set to “Embedded Tags”
It generally works pretty well, except that the genre I have in the file, does not show up in Plex from what I can see.
When I look at a file, it show all tags empty:
This is what Mediainfo shows, so what I would like is for Plex to show the Genre as “Communication Skills”
