How to setup Solo2 for DVR?

Hi

I’ve just ordered a Vu+ Solo2 and want to get everything ready to configure it with Plex when it arrives.

I’m running the latest PMS, and the Solo2 apparently has the latest version of BlackHole on it.

I’m very familiar with Plex, but I’m not familiar with the DVR functionality of Plex, nor with the Solo2 box - I’m coming from a stand-alone Humax Freesat receiver.

What do I need to do to the Solo2 to get it accessible and connected to Plex so I can watch and record live TV?

You bought a device from 2012? Send it back as long as you can… If it was cheap and used, it is a maybe. Still, such an old device won’t give a lot of fun.

To use it with plex you need to install HRTunerProxy on your Solo2:

Dunno if it will work with your Methusalem.
The STB will then appear as an HDHR device for Plex.
