I have a three month trial of tidal and (via tidal direct.) How do I sign in to this tidal trial through Plex. Plex seems to show some unsigned in interface with nowhere to sign in to tidal ?
You should be able to link your existing Tidal account to your Plex account from your account settings (Other services).

Says it can’t be transfered. It’s direct from tidal.
I have to say the UX within Plex of asking for credit card details BEFORE checking if you have an account that can transfer, is extremely worrying for a user. I’m left feeling like I might get charged for something I can’t have… And that is currently free.
I realy want to use total within Plex…but it’s not to be I guess. I can’t trial tidal without this as my streamer is plexamp only on pi.
You don’t need to transfer the account from Tidal to Plex (while Plex will certainly appreciate the revenue for that account going through their books).
Just click on the 1st link in my post – there you can simply link your existing Tidal account (as-is, no change to that contract or any billing). That’s the procedure described in the “Link to an Existing TIDAL Subscription for Access” section of the support article (while the support article also describes how to transfer your account or to sign-up to Tidal through Plex).
Please can you give me a link then. I can’t find it. All the links above go to a page where I transfered to Plex… make the switch…
I think the UI needs attention…well obviously if I can’t work it out… it does
- Click on
Settings>Account>Other Services→ this URL: Sign In | Plex - Click on
Link your TIDAL account→ this will take you to the Tidal page where you can authorize the link of the two accounts
