Huge PS4 Bug

Hello everyone,
I’m experiencing some big issues on the PS4 player.

It’s been 10 years I’m using Plex on PS4, and I never had any problem.
But out of nowhere, it’s been 2 days that the app can’t reach my server anymore. I keep having the same screen saying that I have to “Get my Plex Media Server”.
On top of that, the app is freezing. I can’t even explore the menu or the settings.

FYI all the other players in my home work fine.

I tried to delete and reinstall the PS4 player. It seems like there is nothing I can do to solve this.

Generally before anyone can help, you’ll need to provide things like the Plex version for your server, client (PS4), whether the server is on the local network or remote, etc etc. Good luck!

I have exactly same problem since at least 2 days, plex server is on last version, works on amazon fire tv but does not work anymore on ps4 client on same local network, with exactly same issues than original post.
Tried to uninstall but no changes.

In settings at https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/pms how long ago does it show as seeing your server? Have you rebooted your server lately?

Exactly the same problem here, do you need some additional information? I can use tablet or phone and watch the films using chromecast but I can’t use PS4

I don’t see the PS4pro there, I only see my computer.

I have uninstalled the PS4 app and installed and linked again.

I would like to add that I’m using Plex in the android of my smart TV without problem but the PS4 still isn’t working.

It seems that PS4 is totally abandoned by Plex developers

SOLVED thanks to Van_Helsing:

Inside Plex Server (not on PS4):
Change “Allow Fallback to Insecure Connections” to “Always” in Settings > General.
Change “Secure connections” to “Disabled” in Settings > Network.

I can’t believe plex support maintain these problems without an answer

Lol yes, EVERY FORUM “TIP”, I have tried EVERYTHING, re-installed plex on pc, on ps4, every setting possible, every IP address possible, nothing. Gave up, not worth the headache.
