Hi,
I have been using Plex on PS4 for over a year and it worked perfectly.
Something has changed and now, the app became completely and literally unusable.
When opening the Plex PS4 app, Plex’s home screen is empty (without my content), and is unresponsive to the PS4 controller. I can’t change any setting, move the “cursor” or do anything with the app.
When backgrounding the app by going back to the PS4’s home screen, the PS4 becomes super laggy and choppy. Usually after 10 seconds, Plex app crashes in the background, and the PS4 goes back to normal
When trying to force close the app, it crashes and I’m kicked to the PS4’s home screen.
Plex works perfectly on any other PC, Mac & phone I have, in and outside the network.
What I’ve tried:
Updating PMS (PC) & PS4 Player to the latest versions.
Rebooting PC with PMS.
Rebooting PS4.
Reinstalling Plex on PS4.
Rebooting my network equipment.
Connecting PS4 to the internet via Ethernet\WiFi.
Changing ISP (last ISP had me in CG-NAT).
Optimizing PMS database.
Cleaning PMS bundles.
Please, I need your help. I cant use Plex on PS4 at all

Try removing your Plex account from the ps4 app, delete it, reinstall it, and sign back in. I see you said you already tried deleting and reinstalling. Remove the ps4 device from your plex account on the web before reinstalling and signing in on the ps4.
The app is completely unresponsive on PS4, so I can’t log out.
Tried deleting login information from the server, and reinstalling the app but I get the same freeze.
hmm. Honestly seems like an issue on the playstation side rather than the plex side. Could be something to do with the playstation’s hardware or software.
Same problem over here, here ia something that might help to figure out whats happening.
Tried to open a new account but this time without a media server runing. Uninstalled plex on ps4 pro an installed again, linked to the new account without the media server and its worked without crashing. Tried to add the media server to the new account, after that i did that, ps4 plex app crashed again. So the problem happening when media server runing.
SOLVED:
Inside Plex Server (not on PS4):
Change “Allow Fallback to Insecure Connections” to “Always” in Settings > General.
Change “Secure connections” to “Disabled” in Settings > Network.
Not sure what are the implications of changing these settings, so take this as a warning.

It was very important to me to watch from ps4 because i have ps4 platinum headset that can only work on ps4. Now i can watch with my headphones without everytime hear from my wife to low volume because the baby sleeping!! Thanks again
