(HW) HDR Tone Mapping is working but also not! I am officially confused. Seeking for help

Hello,

i am using a i5 9500. I using Plex over Proxmox and used this guide to set it up:

4K HW Transcoding works fine. So but the HDR Tone Mapping HW Transcoding works only on some 4K Files. I dont get it! I am always using the Web Player for testing.

Maybe its a driver issue?
Looks like im Using: Intel iHD driver for Intel(R) Gen Graphics - 23.1.6 (418a0ffb)

Also when the transcoding fails im seeing this in the logs as first:
AVHWDeviceContext @ 0x7659f7271bc0] Failed to get number of OpenCL platforms: -1001.

I would be happy about some advice! Thanks!

This is a known issue on the newer 6.x Linux kernels (especially 6.8 linux kernel).

We have been working on it since we started checking the release candidate 6.8 and discovered the problem.

The only alternative is to back down the kernel -OR- turn off HDR tone mapping for now

I was really thinking im doing something fundamentally wrong. I am looking forward to an update of plex. Thanks for the reply. =)
