I hope that I can find a guide and some assistance. I have an Orange Pi 2E H3 on its’ way and I am looking to set it up as a PLEX Media Server. Can someone offer me some assistance.
The Orange Pi’s are really not devices I would recommend
The manufacturer support is very spotty and the Linux distributions are often not very stable. That being said:
Here [1] is the manufacturer page with available Linux images and manuals. Just download the most recent “Raspbian” release for your device and the manual. I believe your device is the “Orange Pi Plus2e”, correct? The manual describes how to prepare your TF card to install Raspbian (or any other OS image) on your Orange Pi. However, you do need Raspbian or Ubuntu.
When that is done, just read my sticky post in this section [2]. It’s all in there.
