I’ve created my first Plex plugin. This allows you to watch your LOLCATs from the comfort of your couch.

Please help me test it and let me know how it works out.
I’m thinking of working on a flickr and smugmug plugin next.
I_CAN_HAS_CHEEZBURGER.bundle.zip (72.5 KB)
UPDATE: Version 0.2 Now includes all of the ICHC sites.

OH hell yes! LOLcats is finally here! Add it here. Also when it’s ready it’ll be good for the appstore.

Works great! Thx a lot
Browsed through your code; haven’t progged for plex yet, but I am eager to do so - I love the insight that plugins give into the buildup of the plugin-framework. Looks very intuitive… am looking forward into digging deeper when I finally pass my last exam.
Do you happen to know the iPhone ICHC-App? It covers IHasAHotDog, EngrischFunny and other sites, too. I looked into your code and exchanged the rss urls to check if your plugin can quickly be adapted to other sources - it didn’t work right off the start (who would’ve thought
), the feed buildup seems to be different; this counts for at least the IHasAHotDog-feed. I have to admit that I don’t have any spare time at the moment (got to get working… need to stop surfing about and playing with plex… ) so I’ll have to pass the thought/effort of extending your cool plugin to the ressources mentioned above.
Yes, I actually had the idea to include all of the ICHC sites, I'll need to learn how to code a subpage first (I've been looking through the code for some of the other apps for ideas)
Totally awesome, thanks for creating this plug-in.
Kitteh warms my heart!!
Thanks
Cool plugin.
Brings up a question though, some rss feeds will have images, video and possibly audio…Like some of the sites in ICHC have video. Is there a way to allow users to watch videos if this plugin is part of/placed in the plugin server’s picture environment? (Another example is some of the podcasts like This Week in Mac or This Week in Photography which mostly are audio files but have some video files in the RSS feed as well).
How do you use the I CAN HAS Cheezeburger app? I added, even updated it, but it doesn’t show under my Applications. Running Plex 0.8.5 on OS X 10.6.x
Go to the Pictures section, it should be there.
