I cannot cast to my RasPlex from my Andriod phone

Hi Sorry if I am in the wrong place but I am new to Plex. I have a Plex server set up on a Raspberry Pi 2B running Raspbian and am happy with all it does. I have now acquired an old Raspberry Pi 1B and set that up just for playing music with RasPlex. The server and player see each other fine. I have the app on my phone but when I try to cast to the 1B RasPlex it cannot see it. I can cast to it from the server using Firefox or Chrome browsers on my desktop PC. I can even cast to the Firefox browser from my phone and, if that is casting to the 1B it plays. But for the life of me I cannot seem to cast to or control the RasPlex player just using my phone. I am sure I am missing something obvious but what is it? Many thanks in advance.

I have a way round it. If I use a browser on my tablet rather than the app on my phone it does let me cast to the player. Gets me round the issue but it seems a long wiinded way of doing things.
