I have a raspberrypi plex server and it has been working really well since I have had it. I sit at my Windows 10 computer and cast directly from the server to my chromecast, or my phone or any other device I have.
Since yesterday, the plex server cannot see the chromecast. All my other devices do, but the raspberrypi plex server cannot see the chromecast.
They are all on the same network. I have restarted all devices. I can access plex from any of my devices, but casting has to be done from each device.
I have logged onto the raspberrypi server and opened the plex webpage using chromiun and tried casting, only for it to say “No cast destinations found”. I can ping the chromecast from the raspberrypi server.
I don’t know how to check if any recent updates have been applied, but everything had been working perfectly until a reboot yesterday, and now the raspberrypi server cannot cast.
I have reset the chromecast to factory and rebooted every device. Every other device can see it except the raspberrypi server.
Chromeium Version 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) Built on Raspbian , running on Raspbian 9.6 (32-bit).

I’m stumped. Next thing I will have to try is reinstalling the Plex server, but hoping I don’t have to at this point.
