I can’t see may libraries on tv. I use Plex and Google Chrome on an iMac and I connect everything by Chrome Cast 2. On my tv I only see “ready to cast”. I can start my movies using an iPhone and Plex for it. In my iPhone I can see alla my libraries. How my I see my libraries on tv screen? Thank you.
Because Chromecast device doesn’t have any interface. It uses the app on your Phone, tablet, or computer to provide an interface and cast to the Chromecast device. Refer to the Chromecast website and their support pages for more on how the Chromecast device works and how or why its interface works the way it does.
Plex can only provide apps that will work within the existing devices and that devices software/limitations. Plex cannot force any device to provide an interface it does not already support. See Chromecast support documents and the Chromecast forum for more on using the Chromecast with Plex.
