Plex MacOS player don't cast to Chromecast device

On my Plex MacOS player version (I run MacOS Ventura 13.6.1) I can’t cast my movies to my Chromecast. The cast icon is there but when I click on it the answer is “no cast device found” any idea why this ?
I can cast through the web server version (Chrome web browser) and from my iPad and iPhone players too

Chromecast can only be casted to from iOS, Android, and Chrome based browsers because that is what the Chromecast API supports

Casting to Chromecast is available only via Android (mobile), iOS, or the Plex Web App (using Chrome browser).

Given this constraint, do you know how VLC manages to have Chromcast be a remote target from its own Windows app? They make it look possible.
