I can't select my folders when adding a media library

I wasn’t sure which tags I should use for this. I am using Manjaro Linux as my OS.

Essentially when I try to choose a folder, I am unable to. For example I have my HDD mounted at /run/media/usr/hdd, but anything when I get to /run/media/usr, it is empty. I thought this was an issue with my hdd so I moved some files to my SSD under /home/usr/media, but /home/usr looks completely empty.

What should I do here? Is there some permission I need to allow?

Check that your PLEX account has full RW all the way throughout your path.
