Where are my playlists stored? Do I need to back them up? If I move to a new computer, how will I ensure the playlists are on my new machine? Secondarily, is there a way to copy a music playlist to a text file? Thanks.
Playlists should be migrate if you use the procedure from the related support article

You cannot do that from within Plex.
IIRC WebTools-NG has this covered as part of its ExportTools module.

Playlists are stored in the database which is stored in the path explained in the migration support article. You can either back those files up while the server is stopped or backup copies of the automatic database backups that can be created by Plex.
