OK, I’m finally ready to solve my Live TV issues. I have a low-power Windows 10 PC as my PMS. I have a strong OTA signal according to the HDHomerun app, and I used to watch Live TV on my HTPC before with little trouble. Right now, my Rokus can’t stream live TV, my Chrome browser on the PMS PC can but not every channel. I’m nearly certain my PMS PC is not strong enough to both transcode live TV & send out data via wifi. I really hope I’m wrong, because I don’t want to transfer my PMS to my much more powerful Windows 10 HTPC downstairs. I know I probably should, but transferring everything sounds like a gigantic headache. Basically, I’m seeking a silver bullet here. I’d love to not have to radically change my Plex setup, as getting everything to work has required at least three credit hours of online research/trial and error.
