Basically I did not want my request to be linked to any request that had the word sync in it. It is unfortunate because I can see now it has nothing to do with Synced data or PlexSync so my request is similar but not just for video but for anything that is being streamed - basically following me as you go from room to room with different clients eg Roku;s or iPad or whatever but to cover all categories including music, photos and of course videos
So yes it is the same but I would not want to be associated with a request asking for the client to be in 'poo-mode'. I would not use terms like that.
So I agree it is similar. I do not like the word sync mentioned anywhere - as I keep away from any Plex Sync function at the moment
So happy for my request to be merged with the other so long as the word sync is replaced with another word. The word poo is dropped and music and if possible also photo slideshows are included in the feature request,
I will add a note to the other thread and see what happens
(personally I think the term "mirror" is more confusing than "synchronize" in describing this request, even if it conflicts less with the feature called "Sync")
Yes that is good - i just do not want to see the word sync linked to all this. It is unfortunate so may be we combine all 3 into one request. Drop the poo and sync words and I am happy
Let us go for Tandem Playback. It has not been copyrighted so should be ok
How do we go about merging 3 requests into 1 and summarising all the text into the first post and please drop the pooh and toilet from the opening post

I agree with sa2000... one of those feature requests I made... since they're all similar lets get our terminology aligned and start a single topic for it for people to rally behind and get this awesome feature some traction...
I'm not fussy on the terminology used so whichever is fine...
Probably the feature I desire the most. I hate having to switch over to Squeezebox software for this, outdated and bugged. So many countries, mine included, that have no shops that sell Sonos or other equipment that supports syncronized playback, at least not without paying with your limbs for it.
