I just wanted to make a feature suggestion for an Idle Tuner Scan, similar to TVheadend’s Idle scan muxes. Basically the idea behind this option would be that when the tuner is not being used it can periodically run a channel scan, and that you can set it to only allow it to add new channels that were previously undetected, or that you can have it add new channel and update changes to existing one.
This would be a great feature since sometimes when you run a channel scan you don’t always get the same results, and things like weather and what not can have a big effect at time.
If you want to make it even better, having a notification to tell you that new channels have been detected would be a great addition, then you would know to go and configure the guide
