This has been a problem for quite some time, been reported multiple times but is still not functioning.
Whenever we have channels added or moved a rescan does NOT repopulate the tuner data. I can start the scan, what it in the activity bar, but when it completes the channel date remains unchanged unless I delete the tuner and re-add it which is a pain in the rear end.
It makes no difference whether I select rescan and leave the dialog open until the scan completes, close the dialog by clicking on the “X” or select “SAVE”. The only way to affect the channel list and PSIP name is by deleting the tuner and repadding it.
I’m running on a completely up to date W10 machine, all windows and PLEX updates and 2 Hauppauge Quad PCI tuners. That’s 8 tuners in 4 groups of 2.
Also, the EPG list grows when I do the delete and re-add.
Sure would be nice if this got fixed. It broke when the GUI to the tuners changed, maybe a couple years ago.
