Server details:
Problem:
-
Local Plex Web displays “Not authorized.”
-
Server identity endpoint returns claimed=“1”.
-
Server listens on port 32400.
-
Plex account shows the server device.
-
Device registration PUT returns HTTP 200.
-
Server registration POST to /servers.xml returns HTTP 422.
I’ve already verified my Plex account credentials and internet connection.
Can you investigate why server registration is returning HTTP 422 and help restore authorization without deleting my existing Plex database or libraries?
I can only point you here: You need to reclaim your server, but don't dare to touch the Windows Registry
Additional things to check:
- don’t prevent the website
[*.]plex.tv from accessing your local network (usually a setting in your browser) https://forums.plex.tv/t/important-note-about-the-plex-web-app-local-network-access/933264/1
- disable all kinds of VPN on your server machine
- if there is a local firewall running on your server or in your router, try temporarily disabling it
- verify that your web browser is not applying any filters/blocks to the Plex web app
- without a Plex Pass or Remote Access Pass, your server has to be on the same local network segment as your web browser is
- the local network has to use one of the IP address ranges that are explicitly designated for private use https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_network
