Now in Emby when a movie is played, the rating pops up in the top left corner like you would see with Netflix, Hulu, etc. And now TMDB is supposedly working a deal to get Common Sense Media ratings integration. Would like to request Plex implements ratings details not only for the movie details but pop up when the movie plays. Example: Rated R for strong bloody violence.
There’s an existing feature suggestion discussing an option for Plex to use content ratings from commonsensemedia (incl. use cases on how to visualize and integrate in parental controls). If that’s what you’re looking for, I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes (in which case we’ll close this thread as a duplicate).
