Yeah, the TMDB and TVDB communities are very narrow so I would definitely appreciate a broader demographic source for ratings and IMDb seems like a good fit.
At the same time I wouldn’t mind having an option for just turning off rating entirely… but if it’s going to be there I’d prefer IMDb or even Rotten Tomatoes.

Hey @drzoidberg33 this seems like it’s in your area, any info on why you no longer use IMDb for tv ratings and if or when it might return?
A few months back I had a convo with a Plex employee. The employee had told me that it’s within Plex radar. They were testing it back when the TV agent was still in beta but came in with some issues.
I do not know what the current progress is.

Is this something Plex employees usually do ? Because I don’t see that this is getting any attention or acknowledgement from any Plex developer at all.
On the other hand I can see that some feature suggestions with much lower votings have already been implemented, so I’m not sure who at Plex gets to decide and prioritize the suggestions…
if getting individual episode ratings is too difficult then why not just implement the show ratings until then ?
Anyway, I guess that show ratings are what people are looking for anyway !?
I choose whether I want to watch a show depending on the show’s IMDB ratings.
If I’m already watching a show I won’t skip an episode just because that particular rating is bad…
IMO, IMDB ratings for TV Shows and episodes is going to be a nightmare for plex when/if they add it. The episode ordering on many shows in IMDB is just a mess which is especially true for older shows & non english shows. Trying to match that on your plex system is just going to be a headache for folks who don’t fully understand the differences between how IMDB build their episode lists compared to TVDB and TMDB.
Its also not enabled yet on https://watch.plex.tv for any TV shows, only TMDB and TVDB episode ratings are there.
Sure, plex today does not support IMDB episode ordering which I’d imagine they’ll need to do to support the ratings. Yes they could use the external ids stored in TMDB to IMDB records but many will be missing. There will be 100s if not 1000s of threads saying plex does not match my TV shows/episodes correctly.
I’ll have my popcorn ready when they roll this out 
Native support for nfo files would solves all of those issues.
Yes I 100% think this needs to happen, would be great for individual episodes too if possible…
