Can we please get an option to hide this one?
I realy dont like the layout when "My Library", "Channels", "On Deck" and "Recently Added" are that small :mellow:
We'll be addressing this in some fashion (at the very least for PlexPass subscribers).

Yea, we're talking about the new announcements box in Plex/Web right? Saw this appear and it's showing old announcements. I'm not a fan of the way it looks (although I like the idea of having some way of getting announcements to the masses), and the fact that it's showing old stuff has me wanting to turn it off.
Maybe a different approach, like only displaying when there's something new - not marked read by the user - and maybe instead of having that big block, put a smaller flag out or something that can be clicked on.

If by "implemented" you mean 1/3 of the screen is blank when only having the minimum entries selected, then yes, I guess it was implemented... :P
(I'd upload a screen shot but every time I select a local file I and click the "Attach This File", I get "No file was selected for upload"??)

Not sure I follow, but if the sidebar is empty, the main widget area will fill up its space.
Not in Firefox it doesn't. I have even tried toggling the " Maximize width: Expand the dashboard to use the full width of the page." setting off and back on, did "shift-reload", etc.
My (right) sidebar is empty and taking up space.
Okay, I had to restart Firefox... now the sidebar is gone. Thanks.
Weird. I just tested it in Firefox and it functions as expected. Maybe a browser bug? Glad a restart fixed it though.
I had to clear my browser cache (Firefox) in order for the empty space where the announcements were located to free up and allow the main widget to take it over.

What does it say for the version if you go to Settings > Plex/Web > General?
