Oh my god - I never even thought of looking in there but makes so much sense.
Suitably red-faced.
Thanks Blag24!

This option does not show in the library settings. Am I missing something?
I’ll check out the “hide collections” setting, but I have to say that I absolutely do NOT want to hide the individual movies, just because they’re shown in a collection.
Personally, I’d prefer that collections be shown as a separate sub-menu from movies. E.g.; when you first go into the movies library, and get the recently added, recently released, etc…, and click Browse to go into all movies. Before hitting Browse, one of the categories, or options, is to view collections. In fact, you could make it another button under Browse. This way, when you go to Browse, you get all movies regardless of collection grouping, as expected. You also can go directly to a similar view, but instead viewing all (but only) collections.
This can be configured.
Both on the ‘Advanced’ tab of the library or collection properties.
I other words: this feature suggestion is already implemented.
To free up the votes, I’d have to close the thread. @tom80H are you OK with that?
Still struggling with the behavior if an item is in multiple collections with contradicting visibility settings.
However… since the key feature is implemented… let’s close this one.
If it keeps bothering me, I can post a new one focusing on the specific gap/issue. ![]()
That’s the way to do it!
