Thanks for the suggestion. It still has the problem where i would have to mark them as unwatched. The situation that i want this for is when i put a season of something on in the backgound, and i just want it to play each episode in the season folder, from the episode i select (be it the first of one halfway through). This is what XBMC does, and is the only reason i still use XBMC sometimes. But i wish i didn't, the themes are awful!
Now that the deck on iOS does support continuous play, I'l like to petition for the ability to choose during playback whether it's going to continue or not.
Usage example:
Winding down at the end of the night, and hitting the deck for the next episode of a comfortable series.
Half way through, fall asleep.
Wake up in the morning, and 6 episodes are marked "watched" when we didn't even make it through the first one.
Have to manually go through and we-mark them as watched.
Of course, the higher standard is to simply not watch anything before bed, but that's not a viable use-case for every one every time.

Ironically, I am already clamoring for the feature to KEEP playing! Right now (via Chromecast at least) the continuous turns off at 2 hours, where I want it to keep going! My mom as an example comes to my house, I put on my daughter's cartoons so my mom doesn't have to try and do YouTube or whatever, but if I am not back in 2 hours, then it stops. Of course, there are tons of reasons why that's not good, but there also tons of reason why it is good!
As you mentioned, the choice should somehow be built in. I personally want to REMOVE the auto stop. You want to ADD the auto stop. Seems like this should be feasible with all the other wonderful stuff they have worked on!
