You have to use the PlexPass version of PHTWhat about OS X, I still see 'Shared Libraries' there?
So if I choose 'Add existing Plex user' and invite a friend, they should be able to see my library sections (Movies, TV Shows, etc.) in the main PHT menu, without having to go to Shared Libraries first?

In the latest build if you go under configuration under the "user" tab you can add an "existing Plex user" or "managed user", who can have libraries shared directly to them.
So I've setup my Plex server and logged in with my Plex account and setup a number of folders (Music/Films/etc..), I go into settings and add my girlfriends Plex account as an existing Plex user and I agree to share all my folders with her.
When my girlfriend opens Plex from her Andriod phone those shared folders list themselves at the top and not as shared libraries but libraries she has added. If I add something to those libraries under my account they appear on hers, however our watch lists are kept separately as is the On Deck, etc..
We then have a managed user "house" for our shared interest watching, the Roku is setup to default to this user.
The Plex team have done it pretty brilliantly.
Really? I have my library and a shared library and on my Galaxy note 3 they show up under different sections as they always have. Mine under library and my friends under shared libraries.
On what platforms has this feature been implemented. My Galaxy Note 4 still shows under shared libraries. No on deck or recently added view yet. Amazon Fire Tv doesn't even show media for a shared user.
Managed users are only functional on a few clients at this time.
Roku, PHT, Win8.1 phone, Plex Web App, and forget the other. Android and iOS aren't on the list. Until they are, most of us using tablets are pretty well hosed for this type of functionality.
It's actually a great idea. and is one of the biggest drives to get Feature Parity across all of the clients. Supporting all the features on all the devices Plex clients can run on.
Can we get this feature request baked in for the next update? Would clean up Plex considerably.
