This would be a great feature, and all other major platforms use this already. Plex seems to be lagging behind the competitors here!

Was using VLC to watch some lectures at 1.5x speed, now that I added them onto my Plex I am perPLEXed that the feature is not available. Please add it. Thank you!

Increased playback speed is essential to efficiency. Please add this feature.
Adding my support for ability to adjust playback speed on plex. 2x. and 1.5x at least.

Can you still use this function in your lifetime?
Although I have purchased plex pass as a permanent member, I can’t really use it without double-speed playback. At present, I still use emby to watch more plays.
