+1 This option is SO MISSING now. Really need to be able to access Actor and Director information, bio, filmography

When Filtering on Actior / Director / Writer etc. More features should be shown on the bio’s page, picture, text, birthdate etc. All information that can either be scraped off imdb, or pulled by providing an imdb username etc.
Why is this necessary?

Yes, I actually like reading about the actor / director - it makes the whole experience more complete.
This could be really nice, combined with the possibility of seeing the most important movies where he/she plays.
I’d like to see Bio matched between Movies and TV. If you are in TV Series and click on a bio, you only get that actor’s match between other series but not movies. If browsing movies, you only get matches for other movies but not TV that actor might be in. It would be nice to see “everything” you have that the actor is in.

Separated out into different tabs, When clicking on an Actors face to show other media they are also in, this currently only shows media that is in my existing library. This is a great feature but it would also be great to have another tab on that view where you can see all the media they are in that is NOT in your library.
This would enable me to see films or tv shows of my favourite actors that I currently don’t own so I can then go and get them.

please see my show case for this “old” feature request. If you have suggestions regarding such a try on “bring more flesh to the bone” regarding actors… please respond in that show case thread which allows me to better follow-up on that.

I’m considering this suggestion to be implemented. I’ll therefore close this thread.
There’s a separate suggestion to allow more control over content from online sources or Discover to be included.
