It kind of amazes me that things like Movie Trailer preplay is a feature before something as rudimentary as offline playlists. 1st Gen iPod anyone?

I thought for sure this was available, until I tried to do it today... Needless to say, I'm shocked. Was thinking of cancelling Google Play Music, since my wife and I can't both listen to it at the same time, and setting up Plex to use my old itunes library... can't do without sync though.

It would be a useful addition but isn't currently possible. Thanks for the input - we'll consider adding this in a future update.
Been a long time and we still don't have this ability. Any chance you could give us a super high level view of why it isn't possible?
On the surface this doesn't seem like it would be hard. It could just be a "readonly" list that is synced and all editing is done via web browser.

anyone, seriously, this is MUST HAVE feature. It too is why I can't use plex as my primary music app on my phone. It is the biggest missing feature.
You said it's not currently possible, but with the recent premium changes, is it now, or has that not made a difference?

I've been waiting for these music updates for a while so when they went out I went searching for anything about syncing playlists and found someone asked before I was able to.
Looks like eventually we will get syncing playlists.

This sounds awesome. Can’t wait to try it. A couple of quick questions.
Android – can we sync playlists yet? If not,is it in the works?
Ability to share playlists with other users, is it coming?

How is this not already implimented. It's such a basic feature. And now with auto playlists (love), it's really needed.

I spent a lot of time to do my playlists on plexWeb and I see that I can not use it on my mobile phone ! I am very disappointed...
