Being able to watch a trailer of a given movie would be nice when I’m scrolling through the movies section. But the cinema / leading trailers idea is fantastic! If before a movie started it played a custom number of trailers from Apple.com/trailers, or IMDB (or wherever really) that would be super cool.

I used an option in couchpotato for getting trailers. It also has a maintenance option to get trailers for all movies within a directory. I have mine setup as Title-trailer.mov and that works with xbmc. The only trailers I download manually these days are for old ones that couchpotato can’t find automatically.
+1 for trailers, I have been using the search function to find trailers, but have gathered local copies for the past three years hoping that this feature would be implemented. Possibly the most requested feature ever…? Will it be different this time…?
How well does CP's trailer getting feature work? And where does it get them from? I would so pull down a good 200 trailers or more if this ever gets implemented in Plex...

I had a great discussion about it with a few other Plexians yesterday about some cool twists on the feature we could provide. I think it's definitely fair to say it's climbed a few notches on the ladder :)
I now use XBMC but give a try to the new web client and paid for a month to test it. This is the kind of feature that i’m waiting. I will pay and renew my subscription for a year (or more ^^) if implemented, given the real good work you made with the great new web client.

Not to throw a wet blanket on this raging inferno of a thread…but…why would you want to keep trailers, for films that you already own, clogging up your hard drive?
I could see if I had company or something and they hadn’t seen the movie before, but…I guess I just don’t get it.
I would MUCH rather prefer the ability to keep all of the supplemental BTS material off of my DVDs and BRs associated with that movie than a trailer.
This feature is for online trailers, too.
