Situation - I’m getting into Chicago Fire/PD/Med/Justice/etc. The timeline of the franchise occurs incrementally across all the different series (ref:Game Over Gallery : Chicago Franchise Episodes Timeline). I’m hoping for a way to sequence these in some way that isn’t manual.
Background - I started making a playlist to capture the order of play, but quickly lost resolve; seems like a lot of work for something I may only watch once.
Assessment - I’m interested in some way to sequence these more efficiently. I’m not sure if a playlist is optimal - It’s just what seemed to fit the bill.
Unfortunately I don’t know any of these shows.
Reading your linked website seems to indicate that the order in which these were originally broadcast is not consistent with the order in which they should be watched. Am I correct in this assumption?
If this is the case, I’d look to modify the original air date of each episode so this air date does create the “correct” episode order.
Nice tip! I am assuming, actually, that the air dates would have been in the correct chronology across series. I’ll look into that. I wasn’t aware of the smart playlist functionality so perhaps this will be way easier than I anticipated. Much appreciated!
