Suggest Plex server owner be able to link their online movies/TC shows from Apple, Amazon Prime, etc, into our libraries. Rationale is many of us have huge movie/TV collections and may not recall that some movie we’re about to buy (again) is already owned and sitting on Apple or Amazon’s servers. Can say I’ve bought a movie 3 times now with 2 of those purchases being digital copies purchased on Apple and Prime.
If you have a physical/digital copy of said files you can lay your hands on - no problem.
Otherwise - you can’t get files Amazon/Other owns (you just pay to watch them - any time you want) into your Plexiverse. AFAIK.
To be clear, Plex has no way to know what you’ve bought from these other services, they don’t have API’s to provide that type of info.
