Incorrect cover art found on MBID album match

Player Version#: 4.63.0 (Plex Web on Linux Mint 20.2)

On an unmatched album, I did the following:

1. Get the MBID for the album (MBID is also in embedded tags, but verified at MB website)
   

   

2. In Plex, go to the “Match” function for the album.
   (Plex seems to find the correct album, but no artwork displayed)
   

   

3. Click ‘Search Options,’ paste MBID into ‘Album’ field.
   

   

4. Search finds correct album (apparently), but artwork does not exist on any version of the release at MusicBrainz (the found image may be coming from Discogs, but why?):
   

   

Two issues here:

1. At step 2, why doesn’t Plex find any artwork for the album?
2. At step 4, why is Plex getting artwork from who-knows-where, when there is a good image at MB?

EDIT: Man, my memory sucks sometimes. I’ve reported this before.

Where is Plex getting this album cover?

Server Version#: 1.23.3.4692 on LInux Mint 20.1 Player Version#: 4.58.1 (Plex Web) “Plex Music” scanner and agent I did a Fix Match on an album, using the album’s Release MBID. It found a match, but the cover art that it displays in the Fix Match dialog does not exist in the Musicbrainz DB for any version of the release group. Nor does it exist in the record for the associated Discogs release, or on Fanart.tv, as far as I can see. It’s certainly not on my hard drive. So I’m wondering wher…

I thought this was a duplicate report, but the older issue (linked above) has been fixed, while this one is still occurring with PMS Version 1.25.6.5577.
