Plex Music metadata issue

Hey folks, I’ve just discovered that the correct match for “The Prodidy — Music for the Jilted Generation” has the incorrect cover art (instead it has the art for a subsequent release: “More Music for the Jilted Generation”).

Screenshot below to show that the issue is with the metadata source, not my files! (Note the album name on the left, and the hopefully legible white text on the album cover. You can also just about see that the album cover is mostly brown/copper, where the correct album cover is silver)

I’m not sure how to report metadata issues! Is here good enough? Is there somewhere else? (I know I can add the correct image to the folder of my CD rip, and Plex will pick it up if I have the right settings enabled — but I’d I’m also trying to help fix this for every other listener of this superb album!)

You might want to check which release is used for this album match and report the bad cover on Musicbrainz.

Or simply throw a jpg file named cover.jpg into the album folder.

Great idea @tom80H ! How would I know which release is being used by Plex? (I hadn’t realised it’s backed by MusicBrainz!) — I guess I can go through them all looking for the bad cover, but if there’s a way to look that up in Plex I’d be interested for the future!

@OttoKerner my apologies, I put it at the bottom of my post; I’m very aware I can do that, but I want to fix this for the other listeners of this great album too
