My DVR was set to record 3 late night shows that should not have conflicted with each other (mainly because I have a 3 tuner HDHomeRun PRIME). No user is actively using a tuner at the time these shows air.
However, one of the shows did not record because Plex says I have a conflict with 4 other recordings (please see attached image). Two of the listed recordings are legit (i.e. I set them to record). But, I don’t currently record Jimmy Kimmel Live, though I did several months ago (it no longer shows up in the list of shows I record on the right hand side of the recording schedule screen).
What gives?
Recently, I’ve seen recording conflicts with shows that I do not record and have never recorded at any time in the past…
Any thoughts? Bueller? Bueller?
I had to setup my DVR a couple of times b/c I wasn’t doing everything correctly, and now that I’m satisfied, I also see shows that I picked as a ‘test’ on an earlier installation but I didn’t really want the show. I was able to get them to stop recording by going into the programming guide, filtering it for ‘shows’, finding that show in the list and lo-and-behold - it had the red recording symbol on it. I clicked on the show, and canceled it.
It was like Plex wouldn’t ‘remove’ an intended show from a previous DVR setup attempt, even though I deleted the DVR…

Plex does not remove things from your schedule if you remove the DVR itself. This is incase you are changing your DVR setup, testing something, upgrading to another device, etc., this way you don’t have to recreate all your schedules again. So if you had a previous recording scheduled, it will still be there.
