hey everyone. So…I’ve completed my backup of my 10 tb manually and am going to start from scratch. Plex service seems to freeze all the time when I’m transferring files. I also just bought new nas drives to help combat that problem.
So…I’m going to attempt to use proxmox, vm truenas, and set up plexmediaserver within truenas.
Now, the first time I did it, I think I just downloaded the plugin via truenas, set up a jail and got it working. I need to know if there was a better way to do this, due to the fact that, I can’t update plex. Plex data I can’t find, under the local/share/ whatever. I just want to start from scratch, do it right, and spend forever uploading everything back to the zfs raid in truenas. Ideas/advice/instructions?
