Instructions on how to install Plex on a Synology DS212

I have dl’d the latest package for Synology (PlexMediaServer-0.9.6.0.11-ba33da9) and even the beta (PlexMediaServer-0.9.5.3.309-cf5540b), but from DSM 4.0 Package installer, it tells me it is not supported on that DiskStation. Is there some other way I should be trying to install it? Thanks in advance!

Thanks Trudge. I edited the info file via 7zip on both the beta and regular spk’s but still getting the same error. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.

did you already managed to get plex installed on your DS212?

doesn't matter if I changed the cedarview, still get the message that the package is not supported.

I realized that Plex is only supported on Intel Synology NAS’s. The DS212 is not Intel. :frowning:
