Rather than creating yet another watchlist in Discover, let us sync with our IMDB Watchlist.
I love the new universal watchlist feature and I think it could be even better if it was able to update itself from an IMDB watchlist. This feature could be made available with a button on the Universal Watchlist page, and prompt for an IMDB user’s watchlist to synchronise with, with the option resync with the last used user.
IMDB user watchlists can be set to public and are available at https://www.imdb.com/user/**userid**/watchlist. This feature could parse the URL and update the Universal Watchlist with titles that are not already there.
This could be extended to other sites’ watchlist such as Rotten Tomatoes, etc.
This would literally change my life! Please upvote this guys
If you have it in csv does plex not let you upload your watchlist?
I used the logic for Trakt and now just wondered if I can use some of the outputs for Plex somehow?
This would be fantastic!
This would be great. I have a lot on my Watchlist on IMDB over the many, many years and adding it all in 1 go would be fantastic. I don’t mind if it’s a sync or a simple CSV import/export (But don’t think IMDB has an export for their Watchlist)
That would be amazing. Another reason to be a Plex Pass subscriber. Thanks!
+1 for IMDB
and Trakt without Trakt paywall.
I’d love to see my IMDb watchlist in Plex and it tell me on which service the movie/show is available.
