Plex could DEFINITELY benefit from a problem report that would be available for any [partially] played content. A truly useful problem report MUST be integrated into the Plex players themselves so that information about the player, bandwidth, transcoding and other local settings may be included. If the problem report option is ONLY available at the time the content is stopped, then the server could also add potentially useful info such as the number of users, transcodes, etc at the time the problem was reported.
The interface could include some common issues like: wouldn’t start, no sound, incorrect sound, subtitle issues, etc. So, with just a few clicks, the user could report a problem IN DETAIL, without needing to know all of the detail themselves.
NONE of this sort of extremely useful information will be included in a text message from a friend or from an email generated by some 3rd party app/web site.
Please do not confuse this with requesting new content! This is ONLY a request to allow users to report that existing content is not playing correctly in their client.
