Intel Comet Lake I5 Ryzen 3700X or a synology NAS

Need some advice from you guys.
I am looking to build/buy a new server and can’t decide between Synology or Intel and AMD build, would you guys throw in your thoughts,

OS Ubuntu server and ZFS .

I don’t do much transcoding just a few remote streams as I direct play everything locally.

Build 1
Asrock (server board) X470D4U
Ryzen 3700X
16Gb Ram

Build 2
ASRock H470 Phantom Gaming 4
Intel I5 10400
16Gb Ram

The Intel has quick sync and will cost less, the AMD Asrock board has onboard VGA (not for transcoding) as Ryzen does not have graphics but more PassMark score.

I was also looking at Synology NAS DS1019+ but no 10Gig expansion card, or DS1618+ but weak CPU if a transcode would be required.
Thanks for throwing any help here lool

Regards
Chris

The Intel with QSV should do the job fine. If you enable hw accelerated transcoding you could probably even go with a lower powered CPU.
