Intel meteorlake and HW transcoding

Hello kind people. I have some questions about hardware for plex I would like to ask you all

I have started looking at moving my Plex server from a Synology 1019+ NAS to more capable hardware. I have been looking at different mini pcs and NUCs.

In particular I have been looking at the 155h Core ultra 7 because of its ARC XE-LPG architecture. Considering its capabilities for AV1, I was thinking it was a good little machine for a server for a long time to come.

Now I also plan on using it for other kinds of servers, but plex is the main focus for the choice of hardware.

Now my questions are these:

  1. Does anyone have any experience with meteorlake for plex HW transcoding yet? Especially 155h but anything using the XE-LPG would be nice to know.

  2. If not. Does anyone have any experience with XP-LPG MIGHT or might NOT working with plex hw transcoding? As far as I know normal ARC cpus work with plex HW transcoding, but I have no idea how close XE-LPG actually are to those.

I hope someone has some idea of feedback on this

Thank you all in advance!
