I have a question. I’m a long time plex user, and when I got started, plex players would look for a plex server locally before looking externally. I know this has changed a while ago. How can I set up my plex server and my Roku devices to hit this internally?
I am not trying to skirt licensing or anything, I’m a lifetime member. I live in the Midwest. We have had crazy storms that have knocked out internet for most of the past two weekends. I also have very demanding toddlers. It would be great if I could access some of their favorite cartoons on my plex server when this happens again. I used to use hook my laptop up to the tv and hit the internal web page, but this time it would just say could not reach plex.tv.
