Plex on the go, no Internet

So… I have a toy hauler, and my wife and I go traveling with our motorcycles in the back. When we stop and set up, most of the time there is no internet access, not even with the phones. We are way out in the boonies. I have a Roku TV, and a small server running Plex with a small set of media. Currently, there is no way for us to use the Plex setup, at least that I know of. Am I missing something obvious? I have a plex server hooked to a wireless access point, along with the Roku TV, and I can see Plex from the laptop…

Does anyone have an idea how to make this work?

What do you mean it doesn’t work? that is a broad statement to try to troubleshoot remotely.

Plex has been finicky at times to connect without internet. The primary problem is logging in. When offline only the last account seems remembered. I’ve set auto-login for all clients that may be used offline.

Make sure that under Settings > Server > Network the option for Enable local network discovery (GDM) is enabled. Generally things have been working with Android (synced) and a WD Passport Pro.
