Intro detection not working with rclone?

Is the Plex Intro Detector not working for rclone-mounted libraries? On the console it just shows a repetition of the following:

Everything else works perfectly, including playback, so I’m not sure what the problem is since it can CLEARLY see the file.

can Plex see the file?

(remember, Linux usernames are held distinct)
