Can we please get some (post-iOS 14) widget options for the Plex app now that iPad supports them too in iPadOS 15?
Even just Continue Watching and Recently Added (for specified library) would be great, nothing too fancy. The Apple TV widget options are a good example.
To be 100% clear, I’m aware there is currently a pre-iOS 14 widget available but the new widgets are different. E.g. the current version can only be placed in the widget menu, not anywhere on the home screen.
To someone not experienced with Apple gear (and their tendency to make weird naming decisions) this suggestion might sound very similar to others existing but please trust me nothing specifically like this appears to have been requested.
Completely agree, a Plex widget for my iPad would be brilliant.
Having a widget for Plex Dash would be lovely as well.

This would be fantastic. I live on my iPad and would love even a simple widget.
I guess this sort of pretty basic functionality request belongs with “can you make the Apple TV app play audio in sync” and will be ignored for another couple of years. I’m just glad I got my Plexpass lifetime quite cheaply many years ago because I’d be looking at a refund the way things are going on Apple devices.
Currently, in the iOS system’s Today View, a fixed Plex widget can be added, but this widget does not seem to display any content. It is hoped that a properly functioning widget that supports adding to the home screen can be provided.
