Any plans for this? Would be pretty nifty to have recently played / recently added as a widget on iOS 14.
no current plans… honestly for a now playing type widget the control center is right there, and for recently played/added the app loads quickly to show you that data (however, the latter is a better example of something which would be more useful, imo).

That’s a shame. For podcasts I replaced pocket casts in my dock with its widget. Was really hoping to stack it with a Plexamp widget.
Should we also not expect a widget for the main Plex app. On Deck, Continue Playing, Recently Added. Would be great to be able to quickly hop to those by tapping a poster in a widget.
I don’t use Plex for music, but it seems absurd to dismiss the utility of adopting basic new OS features. Lots of people use now playing / up next widgets on their devices. For podcasts, music, and video. It’s a tent pole iOS 14 feature that has helped spur a cottage industry of Home Screen customization and sharing. Create a nice one and that’s free marketing.

A 2x2 tile widget or even a 2x4 tile widget for iOS 14.x just as a player would be fantastic. Please consider!
I would love a widget on ipad OS for dashboard.
