I am attempting to upload my iPhone photos to Plex and have completed the setup as described. When I turn it on it just cycles through the first image over and over but no upload takes place. I deleted the IOS app and reloaded it but nothing changed.
Check the permissions on the actual disk location where the photos will be stored. I have PMS on my NAS linked to a ‘Photos’ share. PMS didn’t have ‘R/W’ permission and I experienced the same thing. It appears the app is not seeing the ‘permission denied’ case when it should.
I have also filed an issue on this.
Got the same problem, fixed it when I created the folder (to upload) on the server itself and added that folder to the upload library.

Thanks for reporting… Please check the destination folder/directory permissions. In the testing I’ve done since filing the bug-report, “Write permission denied” appears to be the root cause.
Making certain to give PMS ‘write’ permission to the destination directory where the photos will be stored (the one you point the photo library at).
That did it. Thanks for the help.
